Ammunition sales are brisk

Bullets pileOver the last year or so, ammunition sales as well as firearm sales have been up markedly. The most popular rounds being 9 mm, .223/5.56, .45 and even .22 LR, have been very hard to find and even harder to keep in stock. SL gun shop, the leading gun shop in New Hampshire, has done a better job than most in maintaining inventory when it comes to ammunition. Our suppliers have really taking care of us, and our sources are vast. We have built some great reputations with our ammunition distributors, and it has paid off.

With all of the major government agencies, i.e. the alphabet teams, buying up every bit of the ammunition they can get their hands on, it has made it difficult for the general public. As civilians, most retailers have limited our purchases to two boxes per day. And everyone knows that when a shipment of ammunition comes in, is usually gone within a couple of short hours.

You may want to ask, what do government agencies like United States Postal Service, Social Security Administration, US Department of Agriculture, and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration need huge amounts of ammunition for? None of these agencies carry firearms, and none of them are responsible for our security. It was just a year ago February that the Department of Homeland Security purchased 1.6 billion rounds of ammunition. That would be approximately 5 rounds for every man, woman and child in the United States. According to the story, USPS says that postal inspectors carry firearms. Now while that may be true, out of nearly 4000 employees in the United States Postal Inspection Service, only 1000 those personnel are armed. The numbers don’t lie, but government agencies do. All we know here at SL gun shop is, if you need ammo, chances are we have it or it will be in shortly. Our pricing is competitive, and you can never have too much ammunition. If you are looking for a particular round, give us a call at 603-878-2854, or stop in and visit us at 443 Fitchburg Rd. in Mason, New Hampshire.
